• University Education: B.Sc Computer Science (Swansea University), Ph.D (Swansea University)
• Research Interests: High Performance Computing and Visualisation, Problem Solving Environments, Computational Engineering
• Project Role: Jason is a key member of the team whose primary roles are to prepare the CAD models of the car for CFD simulation and to use scientific visualisation techniques in order to analyse the resulting solutions.
• On being an Engineer: “After completing my degree in Computer Science I wanted to move into a more practical field where ‘real-world’ problems are tackled. I must say I wasn’t disappointed - almost immediately I was working closely with all of Europe’s major Aerospace companies. As an Engineer you are constantly being challenged but that makes the work all the more enjoyable and rewarding.”
