    • NASA Group Achievement Award for work on the development of a numerical procedure to aid the design of national aerospace plane engine cowl leading edges subjected to shock/shock interference heating, 1989

    • Catherine Richards Prize for the best paper in Mathematics Today, Institute of Mathematics and Its Applications, 1999

  • Project Role: Prof. Morgan was extensively involved with the computational analysis procedures that were carried out for the successful Thrust SSC Project. He is now lending his expertise to the BLOODHOUND SSC computational aerodynamics analysis.
