Dr. Lakhdar Remaki

- University Education: B.Sc Mathematics (Algiers University), M.Sc Applied Mathematics (Claude Bernard University, France), Ph.D (Claude Bernard University, France)
- Research Interests: Partial differential equations (PDEs), numerical analysis, computational fluid dynamics (CFD).
- Project Role: Lakhdar is working on the development of the numerical methods used in the CFD software for the BLOODHOUND project. He is also investigating the modelling of fluid-particle flows in order to understand more fully the effects of the fluidised desert surface on the car’s performance.
- On being an Engineer: “As a mathematician I am particularly interested in interdisciplinary applications. I have found that Engineering is the ideal field in which to apply mathematics.”
